Social media gives you an opportunity to bring together a group of people who will like your business and will be more loyal to pay for your products.

Mix your promotional content with the useful information, which helps them, suggest resources and solutions, inspire them.

9. Buying followers

Buying followers can increase the numbers, but it doesn’t mean that anyone will read your messages and engage with your content.

    I’m so glad you touched on buying followers at the end.

    Drives me nuts when clients think the solution to their marketing challenges is to buy followers… fake followers, bots, like-4-like, etc.

    You can always tell when an account has bought followers.

    They have 10,000 Facebook fans, yet when they post something no, new engagement. No likes, comments, shares, and so forth.

    Crazy.

    I’d much rather have a fan base of 1,000 real, genuine, legitimate followers who care about my message, than 10,000 people who couldn’t care less.

    I guess some people allow their ego to get tied into the numbers.

      Thanks for your comment. I agree with you, there is no point of having followers who don’t care about your content.

      Especially now, when social media algorithms are changing constantly. Like on Facebook, if there is no engagements with the page, many people won’t see your posts.

      Then those 10 000 fake followers won’t give much effect, except a feeling of having the big number.
